Community....is it necessary?

India has a great history of its culture and heritage. Especially having many religions and different castes in a single country is no easy matter and is one of our strengths. In olden days all these castes were divided based on the work people did in earlier days. But is that applicable now? is a great question to be asked.
Orkut has helped us reunite with all our old friends., not a new matter. No wonder maximum users are young guys and girls. Online profiles reflect personality of a person in a small way, letting everyone know things they like and enjoy. I came across some unexpected hobbies and interests.
Its nice to know about different types of personalities within our boundaries and its surprising to see others profiles. But why is that few people are not worried about letting others know their own community(castes or whatever), is that a road to superiority complex?
So are there people who still worry about community and other age old things being young minds .
