Covid-19 and its psychology
So its been almost 5 months and there seems to be no indication of things getting any better. Sitting in house without getting out to watch movies or grab a burger. Having to work 8 hours in the same settings contentiously for 5 months and still going on is not an easy thing. First couple of months I managed to make myself engaged by doing workouts and yoga @home. But it was possible only for the first two months , later you feel something is missing from your life. You dont feel like doing anything, especially if you are a software engineer and required to be in front of laptop around 8 to 9 hours for a day.
Watching many movies seem to be an option, however after watching countless movies I dont remember the names of the movies watched. Same with the series but little different , I managed to finish few series in a single sitting , I mean in a single day, yes, omnisent I have finished in a day. Some of them took couple of days , Snowpiercer. The first two months finished Two and A Half Men. Has it made any difference in keeping you going, yes a tiny bit, initially when you are too excited later you get exhausted with the same routine.
Is there a way not to get stressed or get free from feeling too much claustrophobic, I have tried too many ways like playing ludo, playing fortnite , Pubg and many more games in PlayStation but they made the stress much worse at least for me. Playing games might sound a best way to keep your mind occupied however its the after math that makes us more weak. I feel weak after playing games for hours. During normal time playing games seems to be fun and interesting but not now.
I am searching for the freedom I used have before. The time I just pick a hotel to want to eat my favorite cuisine. The time I just roam around shopping mall without any purpose, finally after getting tired just go to the food court and grab some delicious sizzlers or a soupy noodles. I miss those days. I hope they come back soon. In the mean time keep yourself safe.
